Calling themselves just "Louisiana" really triggers people, judging by the tweets and the comments here

Just call them the fightin’ perch or fightin’ choupique and be done with it. They need to be back in the SLC with their rivals, McNeese St.

The real question is, why does ESPN even have the Louisiana College logo??

Maybe they should decide on a school name and mascot announcers would know what to call them.

Can't stand the way they call them Louisiana on tv. Call them ULL or Lafayette or something. They sure as hell don't represent the whole state.

UL-M has just as much right (Or NO right) to be called Louisville. (UL) There is no University of Louisiana. Only the Louisiana Legislature can officially change the name of a state college..........
