This is pretty cool. Apparently Duke alumni have donated money so that students wanting to go see their Blue Devils take on Texas A&M in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl can get into the game for free. Per The Chronicle on Twitter...
quote:

"Thanks to alumni donations, tickets for the Chick-fil-A Bowl will be free for all Duke students—originally valued at $90 apiece."
Awesome.

Good move, maybe they can halfway make a good showing in the dome. Not to mention if you're a duke alumni you're probably pretty well of. Great time to be a Duke fan. Too bad there's only about 15 of them out there

Well played Duke alumni.

So an alum can buy students tickets, but they can't buy a player anything at all?

Duke alumni buy. An alumnus buys.
