Near the conclusion of the Oklahoma State vs Texas Tech game Saturday night, Cowboy’s guard Marcus Smart fell into the crowd during a fast break and shoved a Texas Tech fan. The fan has been identified as Texas Tech superfan Jeff Orr, who is known in the Red Raiders community as their #1 fan. So much so, that the school celebrated him with this video back in 2010...

Smart claimed that Orr had allegedly called him a racial slur, which has not yet been confirmed. But I'm sure we will be hearing about this through the media for the next 10 days.

Smart frustrated on growing rep as a flopper; Smart frustrated over officiating; Smart frustrated about losing streak. Earlier in the season Smart kicked a chair, yeah, so what did the chair do.
His emotional outbursts before this incident have been detailed since they started losing. By the way,Smart went toward Orr after he got up obviously LOOKING for a confrontation, so grow up "jdrn21,Flatyger".

How about some logic for a change. If Orr is a big fan of Texas Tech basketball, and apparently he is, then he would be supporting African-Americans players. So it defies logic that he would use a racial slur against Smart.
For Orr to have done as Smart publicly alleges, Orr would have to not be a fan of Texas Tech as the team has African American players, so it cannot be assumed that he made a racist comment, nor should it be assumed he, Orr is a racist; quite the opposite actually.
If Orr did not use a "racial slur" against Smart and there is no reason for him to do so, and to think he did so, then Smart has slandered Orr.
Orr being slandered publicly has every right to sue Smart for doing so, and he should.

There is a Go Pro from right near Orr and you can hear what set "Smart" off. He called him Trash. Wow, that is so harsh I hope "Smart's" self esteem can someday recover.

Orr said something to provoke the kid. The fact that they have yet to disclose what Orr said is evidence enough for me.

I seriously doubt he said anything remotely racially offensive. I do however think he taunted or called him out as an opposing fan will do 24/7 in the NBA. Kid better get some thick skin if he plans on playing ball with the big boys one day.

Or he's a 50 year old who thinks he's 20 and an actual member of the team. He should be embarrassed.

Jeff Orr looks like a nice man who's being turned into a villain.
