Michael Jordan Repsonds To LaVar Ball Saying He Could Beat Him 1-On-1
Sam Sharpe-USA TODAY Sports
A few months back LaVar Ball made the outrageous comment that he could beat Michael Jordan one-on-one. His Airness finally responded at an event in California on Monday...
quote:

“You’ve got to understand the source,” Jordan said, via a video shared by SLAM Online. “I think he played college, maybe? He averaged like 2.2 point per game. Really? It doesn’t dignify an answer, but I’m gonna give it to you because you asked the question. I don’t think he could beat me if I was one-legged.”

MJ in his prime would demolish every basketball player the world has ever produced except for Jimmy Chitwood.

The whole "he wins because we're talking about him" argument is dumb. He doesn't WANT to be hated, and yet he is. The talk about him is almost 100% negative and that does not help him or his brand. Everyone is talking about how bad the Emoji Movie is right now. Does that mean everyone is going to go out and see it? No. Just because people are talking about Lavar Ball does not mean it's helping him. The whole "any press is good press" myth is bogus.

It's not a bad strategy...if he can back it up. If he wins ROY, he stock will be among the greats playing today. If he is a bust, he will be the butt of jokes for years to come. It's all in his hands
