PTBob, I'm assuming that you're a pt. I've read that changing your footstrike actually can do more harm than damage. Thoughts? (For the record, I was d/c from PT in February ... LOVED the guys that I worked with and was really much better than when I went in)...
.) You'll likely feel the need to use your hamstrings more. (So many people just run with their hip flexors and never really use their posterior chain like they should
I've heard people say this but is this "running with your hamstrings more done by changing your gait?...

It doesn't matter how OLD your shoes are ... how many MILES are on them? Is it in FRONT of or on the side of the knee? I'd ice, advil and start the taper .. hang on and then if it continues after the mary, get checked out. And fyi, having been through PT a couple of times, I'm a firm beli...
But im not competing for a race either.
Even if you were who cares. :) If you're doing what you're doing for YOU then good for you. You're way ahead of the lazies on the couch. Yes, I'm admitting here that I'm slow by OT "standards" BUT is that what really matters?...
170 is pretty high for an average for a jog at an 11 minute pace unless you are morbidly obese
I don't know that this assumption can be made. HR is so variable from person to person -- there's no "normal range" ... mine at that pace is higher than 170 and I'm not even close to obe...

OK so I actually clicked on the link ... was previously just going by what was posted. Said that YES it was known that a pilot left the cabin but for unknown reasons. THAT makes sense. Yes, I'm a dope -- read the link first. Always. Or at least sometimes.
evidence from a cockp...

Good point about them being possibly all female Teddy ... the last few flights I've been on we had at least 1 male. And I also doubt that a passenger would be gently knocking. ...

yurin, it's a feasible possibility. Unless the recorder has something about a pilot EXITING the cockpit then of course my idea would be out of the window. eta: and thanks for the acknowledgement. lol It's not often that happens. I'm the mom so I'm always wrong. ...

could it not have been a male steward banging on the door? Perhaps he noticed something "wrong" and was trying to get to the pilots ... idk....

My parents are 70 and 66 ... mom has the Alzheimer's gene for 100% sure (among other things) and dad is good (bypass surgery right after 9/11 and no other issues). Hopefully it'll be a while ... That said, losing one of my kids (almost 23, almost 18 and just turned 14) is what worries me more. ...

Yes, but he sure could have used that money for living expenses. An extra $100 a month for a grad student is a chunk of change ... even if he does spend it at the bar. lol Can you claim married even if you're single?...

When completing your withholdings, if you're single can't you still claim dependents to lessen the taxes withheld? Our son does grad assistant work and got a refund of about $1000 ... I was like man, you better go adjust the withholdings -- you're giving the gubment a big fat loan. He said when he ...
