re: On this day, 31 years ago: Marines Barracks Bombing in Beirut..

Friend of mine's cousin died in that attack. Last year while in DC for the MCM, we visited Arlington and found the memorial to those killed. At the site, there was a bottle of whiskey (among other things) -- don't remember what kind -- with a note from a friend of one of those killed. Broke my ...

You could go to the airport and just mention EBOLA in passing ... lol. Old and lame I know. Really, though, didn't you check the schedule when planning the trip? I don't agree to much without checking the football schedule. Too bad my niece didn't check when she planned her wedding. "It's ...

Does the fiancé care? Why is it now that you decided you'd like to attend the game? You could have looked at the schedule before agreeing on this weekend to travel. IDK. Stinks to be in this situation....

That's the game poor DJ Shockley got his HELLO to Tiger Stadium! I REALLY REALLY REALLY felt sorry for him when the starting QB (who was it?) went out to be checked out and DJ came in ... UGA was driving from the SEZ but idk if they ever got past the 10 yard line. That's also the game...
You signed up to be in the wedding party, you are obligated to attend the functions. Page 13, paragraph 16, article C of the Roberta's Rules of Wedding Order
Not when you ALREADY HAVE PLANS ... I don't think you're required to change plans. 3 weeks is NOT that much notice imo....

re: Legal question - How to remove my 16 yr old name off of court documents ?
Posted by tiger91 on 10/19 at 11:12 am
Didn't read any replies but my 16 yo got a traffic ticket and had to go to juvenile court. It doesn't "count against them" until they're 17. We had no court costs, no insurance notifications, no nothing. Except a date in court where the judge I think scared him to death. Works for me. My po...

Only want to be able to measure distance/speed while using my road bike on the trainer. I use my running GPS watch when on the actual road. Bought a wired Bell from Walmart and can't even get it on the darn bike and I'm really tired of fooling with it. Trying to keep my fitness up on the bike...

What had me most worried was the recovery .. scope 12 years ago I wasn't nearly walking normal at this point. Wasn't given any exercise instructions or anything other than "walk as tolerated" and I was walking the day OF surgery as they told me to. Glad I did it....

Hey .. doing super well. The released me to activity with no restrictions on Tuesday, 11 days postop. Was super compliant with exercises etc and the NP was I think surprised (as was I honestly) at the extension and flexion. Next one scheduled for December after St. Jude's half (hopefully will b...

My son's doctor's charge was $4120, BCBS "allowed" $1654 ... honestly, for the surgery and all follow up care which was like 3 months, I don't think he "made too much". I'd bet his liability insurance alone cost a nice chunk of that. My doctor's charge was $2229 (thought it was closer to what my...

Outpatient surgery facility fees

Can they really vary THAT much from one facility to the other? Son's surgery center charge was DOUBLE the billing charges of mine (hadn't seen the "allowed" charges from insurance yet. He had a fractured wrist repair and I had a knee scope. Not worried about the final cost just had no idea that i...
