re: Does it REALLY matter who will start at QB next year?

Leonard's production is proportional to the predictability of the offense, so we all hope for an improved offensive passing game to support some element of surprise in play-calling....
From what is online, he'll run around 4.5, which is blazing for his size
let's all assume that he runs a legit 4.5 and that Hester ran about a legit 4.6. As stated in the beginning of the thread, "slightly faster", and in both cases, very fast for backs that run so physically....
What does this have to do with football?
players recruit also by how the act and play and speak on behalf of the team and the University. PP7, Hester and many others do so, and so having a strong player adding to this can be a good thing....
Don't take this personally but that is one of the worst comparisons I've seen on this board.
They both are listed as fullback but can play tailback. Ducre is 1 inch taller and about 5 pounds heavier, so they have about the same size. They are both bull dozer type of players. They b...

David Ducre = Faster Jacob Hester

This kid is extremely well-spoken and is a beast of a hard worker who shows great respect for the coaches and seniority. I can see Miles falling in love with him like he did fall in love with Hester. And that worked out pretty nicely ...

Chavis had some folks wondering for the first part of the season, but cranked it up for the 2nd half. 3 years is the right time. This is the window that LSU should make a legit run for the championship....

I have in no way given up on him, as he was only a freshman, but after the drops in the Bama game, which were hurtful to the cause, and after seeing how much better Diarse is at this stage of the development path, I'd put him in only in 4 and 5 receiver sets, as Dupre, Dural and Diarse are 3 grown m...

re: Old-Timers Board. Who was better at LSU?Tommy Hodson or Jamarcus Russell?

Hodson was more likely throughout the first 3 quarters to have possession advancing drives. Russell was more likely in the 4th quarter to have possession advancing and game winning drives. However, Hodson while Hodson was not as good at possession advancing drives in the 4th quarter, he was certainl...
