re: How much does it cost to drive pilings and build a "basic" camp
Posted by Capt ST on 4/13 at 8:23 am
Guys just down from us paid around 15 to raise their camp which isn't much more than what you're talking about size wise. They did have some support issues so not sure if the 15 was original scope or with added scope. It was off bayou decade and pile driven by equipment on barge...

I don't know which academy you go to, but in BR I only have 2 choices for offshore gear, BPS and Superior. I have to agree that they are starting to put more of their items on the shelves that I don't care for, hooks and jigheads in particular....

Posted by Capt ST on 3/31 at 9:19 pm
I can assure you the leader makes a difference in clear water, whether it be salt or fresh. I use fluoro because that's what I have on hand, but if you go straight braid you won't have as many bites. In blue water if you don't think there's a difference between mono and fluoro you're crazy. It's ...

I think one of the issues has been solved by the electric fence I put in back yard around garden. She used to get dummy and run thru garden bef...

Better boy, creole, super sweet 100, sungold, purple Cherokee, jellybean, Roma and BHN 669. That's what I have in ground. The 669 and jellybean are the only new ones I've added. My Cherokee didn't produce a ton, but like others have said, probably best tasting, I just haven't had a bunch of succ...
