There will be lots of squad rotation and also tactical options for subs. That's for certain. Being able to bring on a sterling, swag, etc at the 65 minute mark is a big asset. As long as they are all ok starting 30-35 games a year and not 45...

I did have a question about how the subs work - do I assume correctly that in the event that, lets say this week I run a 3-4-3 and my first sub is a midfielder - if a defender does NOT play, then I can't use any subs at all (since replacing a defender would make it a bad formation)? Or would it go ...

I'd be a bit nervous starting the game with three at the back but feel, if we have prepared it, it could be a good in game move once subs start happening. I think it has to be a 4-3-3. Allen or can - probably Allen. Everything else the same. As for Lucas , it may be that he can spell Ger...

I would be ok with that. Price is steep but it's a good risk and i would much rather that than 15m less on eto who can't lead the line three times in a week if sturridge is out. What are the thoughts for our point total the next three weeks? At city will be very tough. Have to figure getting ...

He had a lot of bright spots (hence the ups in my comments) but was also faked out completely twice and also tried to make a run when possession wasn't secure which opened things up behind him. Against city these things would cost us a goal. I think his future is good - we will just have to live...

My thoughts - Mignolet is very far from any of our problems. Coverage other than Davis would be nice, but Mig is becoming a very very good shot stopper. He's improved with the ball at his feet. He still seems to make one weird play a game, such as the strange punch/miss issue he had today, but...
Can't really hold onto the ball unless we're knocking it around the back.
Yeah, you can see the killer ideas are there, but the execution just isn't. The passes are a bit off, the ideas just a slight angle different. The trap drifting a bit further from the player than it should...

I'm liking Lovren a lot. You can see how much he communicates out there and takes charge. He also has dominated the air and gotten two balls I didn't think were his to even attempt at. He also had at least one nice over the top ball with back spin that played us into their box. ...

Agger has an injury. Hasn't been training. Can't believe Lucas is starting - Rodgers knows a lot more than me, but I already compare this to his starting four CBs accross the back four last year. Unless Lucas contract guarantees his starting the opener? Or pics of Rodgers banging a trann...
