re: Looking for local BR gunsmith to install recoil pad on rifle
Posted by dawg23 on 9/30 at 8:12 pm
Do you already have the recoil pad -- and is it already been shaped to fit the stock ?? $85 isn't all that high if it includes the pad, grinding to fit and installing it. Dale Givens (275-7500) will do an excellent job, and probably charge less (although I don't know his rates). He made a few ...

I found that this morning. My "IT guy" (who's responsible for hosting) is working to retrieve//restore it. I kinda thought I was getting fewer calls about CCW classes. :rotflmao: I don't know how long ago it happened. I was enjoying the extra free time -- but even a dumb redneck like me can f...

Whatever you determine to be the problem, if your cart hasn't been to a dealer for the recall, you need to do that. After E-Z-Go bought BBB, they announced the recall. But they never tried to locate owners. So those who "hear" about it take theirs in for warranty recall work -- which consists of ...

Should have contacted me before you acquired the gun -- I'd have made you the proud owner of a 28 gauge O/under Browning (NIB). You'd be looking good with this gun....

I found Givens' "take" on the Judge (from a few years ago) -- but it didn't say which barrel. He reported very poor accuracy using it with .45LC ammo.(see "bold" text below) It could be that he happened to get a "bad one," that isn't representative of all Judges. But I do know that the man knows...

We use G3's (1860's) as small work boats at my office. They hold up very well, despite levels of abuse that never cease to amaze me (and never cease the guys at the shop who maintain our boats and motors)....
