re: How to make Punks slow down when driving through your neighborhood.
Posted by eleventy on 4/14 at 4:31 pm
My husband lived on one of the busier streets in a subdivision as a child and kids often sped up and down leaving a high school close by. One afternoon, a man who lived at one end of the street heard them coming as he was doing yard work. He flung his push mower into the street, and that stopped the...

re: Agree/disagree, after divorce the man should be able to force a name change

I think if there are kids, and the ex wants to keep the same name as her kids that is a very good reason. I know a lot of women who keep their married name for that reason alone. Now -- a friend of mine got divorced, no kids from that marriage, ex got pregnant by another random dude during her post-...

re: 25 Things Your Dog REALLY Can’t Eat!
Posted by eleventy on 2/26 at 1:08 pm
I had a 10 year old Sheltie eat an entire cookie sheet of chocolate marshmallow candies which were cooling on the kitchen table. KNEW it would probably cause her demise. Did not -- she lived two more years and had no apparent ill effects. Maybe the marshmallow mitigated the effect of the chocolate? ...

Hubs plants them in raised beds. Red Lasoda and Yukon Gold. He has his drying at the moment to plant saturday, so not too late. The first year he did it, did not work out so well. Apparently to get good yield it is really important to pile dirt around the base of the plant as it grows. When a 4-6 in...

The doctor should not have called you in any case, unless perhaps the complaint looked suspicious without your signature and all. Call the attorney. Call the Panel office. There is also a filing fee. Wonder what he was planning to do about that? ...

I've worked with med mal claims for many years. The lawyer should not be filing a claim without you. The complaint comes from you and should be signed by you. You could file without HIM (not advised), but he should not be able to without you. Where did he send it? Is it a Medical Review Panel compla...
