But go back and listen to his older stuff, it is just as good or better. As a whole album Southeastern is probably the best though... ...
No offense to Isbell, but Joe Pug is the best songwriter out there right now.
Cool story time. Joe gave me a free signed Nation of Heat vinyl because I told him to eat at Pastimes and he said "It was fricking delicious. I love Louisiana." He packed somewhere around 150 people ...
Lmao. Isbell is great but he hasn't jumped guys like Jim Croce, Willie, Kristopherson, Steve Earle, Guy Clark and Townes Van Zandt to get near the rarified air of Bob frickin Dylan. I believe your gump is showing.
Once you admit that Townes is greater than Dylan you'll have it ri...

OK 4 of miles 10 years at LSU he had decent QB play. 5 if you want to count 2011. Which leaves him with a record of 59-19 with subpar quarterbacks. Or the majority of his wins....

Posted by CottonWasKing on 12/1 at 12:39 pm
Obviously Miles has had much more success and this is by no means meant to be a flame thread or even a negative thread towards miles. But they both have very similar philosophies.
