You need to try on several brands to see what fit you the best. My favorite brand for a combination of quality and comfort is Dan Post. My Lucchese are well made but they don't fit my foot near as well as my Dan Post. I'm not a fan of Ariat or Justin boots....

I don't disagree that all negativity all the time is annoying. I 100% support Anderson, but I don't think he is beyond criticism either. He has certainly made personnel decisions that have left me scratching my head. ...
I'm guessing its fine buying one used? This may be a dumb question but like I said Im new to this, but do they "wear out", and lose velocity?
Used is fine. The bow itself isn't going to wear out, but the strings and cables do. Once they are worn and/or stretched yes, you will lose ...

I'd recommend a Bear or PSE ready to hunt package. They can be had in the $375-$500 range and, unlike a most used bows, will have a warranty. If you want a higher end bow and are willing to spend $700+ I'd check out Archery Talk and look at a used Obsession or Elite since they have transferabl...

I'd look at a pair of Dan Post boots as well. I have a pair of cowhide and a pair of caiman and both are very comfortable. Dan Post in Ostrich should run in the $400-$450 range....

Hunt how you want as long as it's legal. If you are going to put out bait to hold them check your local laws. Some places consider an area baited for up to 30 days after the bait is removed. In Arkansas it's 10 days. ...

Ripley or Flannigan? Flannigan's son Wes wasn't recruited by Nolan and ended up at Auburn. I think he had another son or a nephew that ended up at Ole Miss. He's still at Parkview and Arkansas has gotten Beard and Ross from there recently though. Most of those guys that went to Ole Miss weren't re...
