re: The Last Time The Price Of Oil Crashed Like This?
Posted by KG6 on 12/23 at 10:38 am
I'll admit that my salary in the oilfield may be a bit inflated. There's one field I've had to deal with that I felt skeezy with the way things worked, and that was with a lawyer. I think it's only limited to personal injury type lawyers, but man was that a blatant "let's look where we can scr...

I have definitely paid a lot less than using replacement cartridge blades. You can get expensive with it if you want, but spending 20 bucks on cream isn't that much when it lasts most of the year. I'm not poor by any means, but when I used to have to go buy another pack of mach 3 blades I crin...

Didn't mean that in an offensive way, even to those that are really into it. It's just you can get pretty deep into shaving accessories, lotions, creams, oils, etc. if you start to do some research. I love the videos that some have posted here of guys who just take it to the next level. I do the mi...

No, I'm not that into it. But I do throw a hot towel around my neck(I keep a beard)while getting the cream lathered up and that's helped a ton. Like a hot knife through butter now. ...

I stopped in the Art of Shaving the other day for the first time. Jesus H Christ that place is expensive. I first started shaving with a DE razor to save money. Getting a 50 pack of blades for $10 was a big selling point. I started getting razor burn bad, so I looked into what I was doing wr...

Posted by KG6 on 12/21 at 9:23 am
My wife has features from her mom, but looks a lot different. Like you can definitely tell shes her mother's daughter, but they take the features in different directions. Completely different body types as well. If she were to end up looking like her mom, it would take a lot of changes. Also n...

Does your league allow transactions during playoffs?
Posted by KG6 on 12/21 at 8:44 am
Guy I'm playing for the championship is messaging on the league board about who he just picked up and blah blah blah. I don't mess with it once playoffs start because we've had issues in the past with collusion where guys drop the whole team once they're out of it and let certain people know, etc.....

Stereotypes are stereotypes. There is always a history for which people build their line of thinking. To automatically believe everyone without a doubt is like that is where you become racist. Generally changing your attitude towards a person because of a stereotype is pretty racist. But it does...
i'd say if you came in with a large group you should expect this just as the staff should be expected to make less money. Just the way it is.
This viewpoint is pretty bull shite no matter who the customer is. Management should be on the lookout for this and get on top of servers wit...

Can't be over 5%. I think some states are pushing for more, so they are going to have to adjust that. And I don't think Louisiana stations require bio-diesel mixes....
What does that have to do with the engine being a diesel ? Would you not have to do the same if the engine were gas ?
But how many people do it? I know most people feel flushing the transmission is worse than just leaving it alone. I did it for the first time with this vehicle pu...

VW TDI's retain their value pretty well. I was looking for used and couldn't justify not buying new after looking at prices of 1-2 year old vehicles. Interior quality of the Jetta is definitely not the greatest, but I think we also only paid 23k for it so it's not like I was paying for high trim l...

I bought my wife the Jetta TDI almost 3 years ago. I now drive it as I commute about 30 mile each way. Only issue we ever had was a relay for the door locks that was replaced under warranty and never had a problem since. The fuel mileage can easily exceed the listed values depending on your c...

I now pay around 9k in The Woodlands and I can't complain so far. I only paid around $700 where I lived before in Louisiana. I'd rather pay and get the clean and kept up town with constant improvements than not pay and get the crap I lived around before. Property taxes in general are one of th...
