It's incredibly lame and they feel bad about it but what can we do? I can't, in good conscience, ride along if I know it's going to cause friction between people I care about. I'm absolutely sick about missing the show, though. Can't wait to hear about it myself....

One of the girlfriends decided last night that she didn't like the idea of me coming out with the guys this weekend, so it was decided this morning that I would no longer be going. I cleared it with the guys months ago so I don't know if she just decided she didn't like it or if he waited until las...

TT is doing juuuuuuust fine. No families, really, one of the guys is married but that's it. They are doing well. AA gets by but they're not making a lot. They're still in a van and you have to bring in at least 12500/show (I think that's the number I heard) for management to spring for a tou...

Chime's would be perfect if we can leave the trailer at the venue and not have to haul it...it makes parking a nightmare. May just have to do Pastime because it's there. I can't believe there still aren't a whole lot of options around there. On a side note, what's the best stuff at Pastime? I ...

I will be in town a week from Saturday with some friends...their band is playing at a venue downtown and the hotel will most likely be in that area as well. I'm guessing we will grab a bite to eat after sound check and would like something close to the venue (Mud + Water). I know the Pastime is ac...

I like 24 Diner and Magnolia wayyyy better than Kerbey. Shady Grove is fun when they have the free live music on Thursdays (which starts next week, I think)...I agree that the vibe outside is awesome but I'm not a fan of the interior of that place....

I love Violet Crown, they have cheap drinks and play awesome old movies. The White Horse is great, too, as is The Grackle (4.50 Jameson on the rocks and my second favorite East Side King). There is another Via 313 located out back of Craft Pride on Rainey...tons of craft beers. I love Banger'...

Sub, have you been to the ABGB yet? Great food (their pizza is my favorite in town), some solid beers (all brewed in-house), great music/vibe and I love the staff. One of my favorite spots. My best friend lives one street over so we spend a lot of time there....
