re: John Fullbright at Red Dragon
Posted by L Boogie on 11/24 at 5:40 pm
Better, but Fullbright is my very favorite artist so I am probably biased. He is really incredible, though. And per his drummer, Red Dragon is his dream venue. He really fell in love with it last time he played there. I just saw him last weekend when he opened for Patty Griffin and have pl...

Looks like he added a second BR date at the Red Dragon. He is now playing on both 12/7 and 12/8. Any of you jokers making it out for one of the shows? He will blow your mind....

I'm not sure he knows who I am on here but tell him LY says hello! Tell him I'm from BR and good friends with Pratt and he should be able to connect the dots. If you see the tiny bartender with the huge glasses, become her best friend. Her name is Amanda and she's AWESOME....

Trust me, if I had to pay for most of them I would hardly go to any . I've saved a small fortune just having friends in high places. I actually have a DRB laminate because apparently I'm the 5th Dirty River Boy (Girl). The TX/OK music scene is a small, tight-knit world and I'm lucky enough...

It's a bar so I'm not even sure you CAN. If you're there at dinnertime, it shouldn't be packed so you likely won't have much of a problem...there are a few booths and some picnic tables outside but it's mostly just 2 bars and some cocktail tables. As for your Friday lunch, where are you staying?...

I have had a bunch of friends who have worked at Dogwood through the years so I met him through mutual friends but I do see him at the bar when I occasionally make it over there. Turns out he knows my cousins and my uncle really well. Small world. Come visit, Walt! We'll show you a good time :...

Molotov closed so I guess y'all are going to Dogwood  The food there is actually pretty good and they have some really fun bartenders. It gets crazy packed on weekends, though, so be prepared for a cluster. South Congress Cafe is AWESOME. Probably my favorite brunch spot. Get the infus...
