re: New Sufjan Stevens album - Carrie and Lowell to be released March 31

I hope so too. The Adz tour was awesome but the lineup that he brought didn't seem to be made for playing Illinois or Michigain. It was mostly Adz, all delighted people, and seven swans. I'd expect a big show because of the venues he's playing at. Get ready for some awkward stage banter....

Always good to hear your perspective. I need to give this a few more listens. Are you going to catch him on the tour?...

I think he's right. I think of soft and wet when I hear mushy, which is how crawfish are undercooked. Overcooked, they are brittle. I'm sure if you boil them enough they will turn more mushy. ...
no they're not.
Open up a live crawfish and tell me that the meat is not "mushy." Undercooking = Mushy Overcooking = Dry It's pretty simple....

Yeah, I wouldn't wait until 11:30. Best course is to get there early. Like the other person said, try 10:15-10:30. You'll be eating by 11:30 and get what you want....
I think he told me that you could boil crawfish in unsalted water for 15 minutes and the would not get mushy.
The old man is clueless. Crawfish are "mushy" before cooking. The longer you cook, the more brittle and dry they get. I don't understand why he thinks salt has some effe...

Album is now available on spotify for anyone interested. It's a good album for sure. It's a bit depressing, but also beautiful at the same time...kind of like Elliott Smith. I love the opening 2 tracks, then the 3rd one reminds me a little of John Wayne Gacy...kinda creepy. Compared to the re...
he steamed these crawfish for a good ten minutes and they were not overcooked. Not saying he's right, but have you ever boiled crawfish in straight water to see how much they could handle?
I'm not sure if I understand. I edited my original post because I misunderstood the OP and ...

If Rex was just turning into a parking space and there is no room for a car to pass on his right, I feel that the biker needs to proceed with more caution. When I'm on a bike, I never zip through tight spaces, especially if I'm passing a bunch of cars. All it takes is someone to decide that he/she...
I ride as if I was a car. The only thing I may do is if there are 3 or so cars at a red light, I may pull up on the right side of the cars on the shoulder to get through the intersection faster, but I stay off to the side and never pass a moving vehicle. Only way that guy had a right of way i...

Probably already been said, but if the cyclist was in a bike lane, you have to yield to them when turning across it, just like you would for cars in their own lane. If no bike lane, he is an idiot for passing on the right and should know the risk. ...
