re: LSU/Aubbie battle with DB John Broussard
Posted by lilwineman on 2/12 at 7:19 pm
Phenix City is basically Auburn. It's close to his home and wouldn't be a bad choice as it was stated that we will get our DBs and already are continuing the DBU trend. Whatever he chooses, let's wish the kid the best...be he one tiger or the team of confused mascots....

re: mark west pinot noir
Posted by lilwineman on 2/5 at 6:25 pm
Asks question about mark west Pinot which costs $11-14 dollars and gets recommended Étude Heirloom which closer to $80 lol. Mark west is soft, fruity, and very light. If you found it funky it might've been corked (tastes like dusty mildewed cardboard), maderized (like stewed fruit), or any other aff...

Travis minor would've been February 1997. I only remember this bc it was when I applied to catholic high lol. His calves looked like they had softballs inserted under his skin at the open house....

I enjoyed hubigs...was always afraid of those prepacked sandwiches and knew friends that got sick off them, not to mention the, if I'm not mistaken, closure due very unsanitary work wnvironments....

Sounds like it never had a chance to begin with... Prime Prep athletics had an initial setback in its first year when the program was unable to field an eligible football team based on the rules of the University Interscholastic League (UIL), which governs interscholastic activities of public sch...

I've had rogues chipotle ale and twisted pine ghost faced killah...I enjoyed the twisted pines even though it packs a punch in heat. Had a heavily fruity aromatic with the touch of pyroxene from the chiles....

I lump the blended scotch drinkers into the category of wine drinkers....there are people that love wine but don't appreciate the individual characteristics of the villages of burgundy, the regions of Bordeaux, the sub AVAs of California. I guess rather than saying a real scotch drinker I should've ...

Real scotch drinkers, in my opinion, drink single malts...and in the same sense have an understanding the regional flavors given. Highlanders like their scotch more like bourbon...milder, fruitier, oakier. Islays are full of smoke and iodine. Speyside is delicate and slightly salinic, etc etc. there...

The only time I would consider something dofferent is for flavor profiles...such as using a port/Madeira/Marsala...but even then I would use the cheap stuff. If you're not a drinker of wine, don't waste the effort popping a bottle that might go to waste....

It's treating me just fine. So much to do here and eat, yet somehow I've lost weight lol. I'm in wine distribution now, the restaurant hours were no longer for me. Quality of life with the schedule is great. Just came in this weekend back to BR to visit the family for by birthday/early Xmas visit....

It's a bit out of the way, but if you're ever around the energy corridor, petit cafe has some good food. Their food, top to bottom, is really good. Even the rice, as simple as it seems, is great bc of the quality basmati he uses....
