Maybe, maybe not. Getting thrown out of the swamp by a rent-a-cop with a hard-on for tossing people out is. So therefore, I'm trashy as frick....

[quote]Just not so sure a 70-80,000 seat dome is what is needed, which is what they wanted. The plans were long ago scrapped anyway. And if I were not going to the beach this weekend, I'd be going to Legion Field for the UAB-Troy game. They decided on a Noon kickoff. Who in their right mind has an outdoor football game in late August from noon to 3? We roasted out there 4 years ago. Had to move to the home side so my dad and ...

re: Giant wasps' nest invades spare bedroom
Posted by TU Rob on 8/27 at 3:36 pm
I was stung 3 times by a Red Wasp about a month ago. I was out washing the cars, letting my 6 year old daughter help me since she had been begging to since the day we bought a brush to wash the wife's van with. I had finished up on the Jeep, and pulled it back into the garage. Backed out the van ...

re: What do you carry in your truck toolbox
Posted by TU Rob on 8/25 at 3:27 pm
Back in college, I got one of the deep tool boxes that went all the way down to the bottom of the bed. But it was a 2-door Dodge Ram and that didn't leave much room in the truck to keep things. I usually had some tow straps, hitch ball, jumper cables, gloves, a small socket set, hammer, 4-way lug ...

Posted by TU Rob on 8/25 at 1:39 pm
Yep. They are likely split at the point of entry into the house, so splitting again shouldn't be a problem. We did this in my dorm room in college. My roommate had a huge (at the time) 32 inch TV and I had a 19 inch. We'd have multiple games on in the mornings before heading up to tailgate. ...

Also, there is a lot of excess line. I bought some really long lines with the attachments already on each end. Would it benefit me to get one of those tools, cut the lines, and reattach the ends? And this is the Antenna [link=(http://www.amazon.com/RCA-ANT751-Durable-Compact-Outdoor/dp/B00...

Does a preamp require power? I'm guessing it does. I still may need to tweak the antenna to see if they come in clearer but if something powered would help I have some lines in the attic that feed a plug I never use that I could splice into and put a plug in the attic wall. ...
