I don't know much about the QB's, so I will agree with you given your assessment. What I'm curious to know is if you would be happy if Saints actually were to pick Bridgewater at 27 in lieu of any of the other need positions or trading back...
goatmilker
 yes Blues I follow you. That's pretty much how I see it. If the guy that "falls" is clearly superior to your next up on the list, then you pick him regardless of position. So let's say Bridgewater falls to 27 and is rated 8 on Saints board, you want ...

I agree with drafting BPA, but I do think there's a certain amount of subjectivity to that. At any given pick there is probably a good 2-3 players that would be considered a BPA by any given team. There are exceptions to this (ala Deuce), and those are must draft scenarios. I guess I think there ...
DE Junior
Juniah is an OLB in our 3-4 system, DE when 4-3. Last year we ran mostly 4-3 due to injuries, but the 3-4 will be our primary formation. By DE I mean a 3-4 one, which we have Cam and Hicks. This is a position that is set for a while. NT on the other hand ...
Ebron drops
I still wouldn't like this. We have such a need at WR that we would be putting everything into the TE position. The money that is about to be given Graham makes this a luxury pick that just isn't the right thing to do. I wouldn't be pissed at it, but I would not l...
pray that a good WR is there in the 2nd
If Blues' assessments are right, this will be the case. It seems there are many WR's this year, so it's better to wait till the 2nd to address the position. I would have no issue with taking one in the 1st...

Positions drafted in 1st RD by Saints that would anger you
Posted by Midget Death Squad on 4/16 at 9:17 am
We talk a bunch of what we think are positions of need and that we should address this year. We even get down to player we want and elevate that to anger when those players are not selected. Let's flip this around for a change. What positions would piss you off if we used a 1st (or even 2nd/3rd) ...

Butler is still an unknown. We brought him in last year hoping that the flashes he had shown would be real, but he was still somewhat of an unknown then. With the injury, that makes him an even greater one. Yes we are hopeful and expect him to be a solid OLB, but to say he's underestimated is pro...

I agree with the first two, but not the third. I was not in the "we need an OLB" camp, but you and ChadBoi have shown me how wrong I was. This is quite spot on with its analysis though, especially Silva's CB write up. ETA: I think the staff believe in Lelito, and I am behind them with it. I...

I agree with BrettRex on this one. Right now we have one legit starting CB. After that we have Champ the Gerry, PRob the Busted and White the Raw. Any one of these guys can become the #2, but it's foolish to think that any of them is a sure thing. I do believe Champ has something left and can/wi...

I disagree. I believe it to be of great necessity. We currently have Lewis and 1 gerry, 1 bust, and 1 maybe. Now all three of those have the potential to turn in a good season, but at a position of high importance it is imperative to have 3 quality starters, especially given the structure of the ...

No, because if there's a run on one position of need then there will be a surplus at another. If we were just one player away from a full team, then I would be fine with this; however, we require a few upgrades, not just one. Plus this draft is so deep it would be silly to give up another potentia...
