New Orleans Restaurant to Open Lafayette Location

The owners of Drago's Seafood Restaurant are currently looking at three possible restaurant sites, two of which are located in River Ranch and a third which is located along the Ambassador Caffery. I prefer Saint Street Inn as a hole in the wall , Olde Tyme Grocery or Johnsons Boucanierre. I wouldn't ever go back to B&C, under any circumstance.. but I respect anyone's preference, if they enjoy the place....

Completely serious. The atmosphere is dreadful. The food is not comparable to any decent restaurant and the kitchen is filthy to have to look at. It's with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to Christina Bannister who died this morning at 10 AM. Christina suffered a stroke a week ago, Sunday. She was a hard working woman, in her restaurant in the early hours of every morning. I'll post a link with obit when one becomes available. ...

It's a very good program. They are very talented. The Baked Alaska competition was my favorite, followed by the English Pudding. Tweeked my sweet tooth, big time....

Rouse's has a nice wine selection. They have good seafood, meats and poultry. They also have a nice produce selection, at most of the Rouse's I've been to. Not sure what the focus will be on the new location but I'm sure it'll be a nice store....
