Is there nothing in your "uninstall programs" that looks like it could be the culprit? It could also be an extension or plugin in chrome. Have you tried using malwarebytes antimalware? I have helped my parents clean these types of things all the time with that one free piece of software. Down...

I was driving down Hwy 90 in the thick of it. Hail was falling for a good 5 minutes. Couldn't see any lane markings during the peak. Definitely the scariest weather I have ever driven in. Luckily everyone was cautious and only going about 35 mph....

I changed the mode to "Client Bridge" and that disabled DHCP. I put the bridge on the same subnet out of the range of the AP router. there is no repeater available. There were client, client bridge, and a few others. But none were repeater. I was using client, but maybe I should have done client bridge....

Bump... and I attempted to put the repeater on the same subnet as the access point but it won't connect to the internet. I changed the ip back to a different subnet and I could get internet again. I did not install dd-wrt on the access point router, just left it stock. I guess I will flash it on ...
