Nicks Follows Bentley
Posted by blueslover on 8/6 at 8:17 am
Has there ever been two such good players (both O-line) that left one team for such big money and then produced so little as a result of staph infection? The Bucs agreed to a $3-million injury settlement with OG Carl Nicks, according to salary cap information filed with the league. It officia...

Saints Worst Contract 2014
Posted by blueslover on 8/6 at 8:10 am
Worst Contract: Curtis Lofton I could easily see giving the nod to either of the Guards, who have both gone through restructures and are near the top of the food chain, but both are higher quality players and have already made it through a majority of their contracts. While Curtis Lofton is ...

Most Improved Player day 3 edition
Posted by blueslover on 7/27 at 5:15 pm
- If I had a vote for most improved player very early in training camp, it would be wide receiver Nick Toon. Physically, Toon just looks the part and now is finally starting to play the part. He had a tremendous day Saturday and followed it up with another solid day today. More than anything else, T...

it ain't for everyone but if it fits ya it is a great option. Being able to visit someone and get first hand info/insight is a big plus. For many the initial impetus is financial. There's no denying how great that is. Coming to my first 90 days of expatriation the most refreshing thing is more...

I'll chime in for appreciation of bonethugs (and others) capology work. I follow it and know most of it. It's now a necessary aspect of NFL life but one that I don't enjoy much. I much prefer getting it from reliable researchers here than spending my time on salary cap sites....

I don't think any single player will fill the Sproles role per se. If you watch Cooks highlights tho, you will see he did take a lot of handoffs from close rather than what we generally think of as an end around. His 2013 OSU running numbers might be a guide: 32 attempts 217 yards 6.8avg 2...
