| Andy Kennedy Posted by inelishaitrust on 3/22 at 10:11 pm Would not have been fired if Ole Miss had not made the tourney. How could we have fired him? It still would have been our best season in a decade, our 6th 20 win season in his 7 years (ACLpalooza being the lone exception) He became the all time wins leader this year.
Say we lost a close one to a...Posted on: Jump to Post View Topic |
| # of starters your team returns next year Posted by inelishaitrust on 1/7 at 1:14 am I'm really looking forward to next season, but I'm really in the dark about who all is coming back in the SEC. I realize that the NFL draft deadline has yet to pass, so just give me the most likely scenario.
Ole Miss should return 19 starters next year.
9 on offense (G AJ Hawkins, TE Jamal Mose...Posted on: Jump to Post View Topic |
| You make Johnny Football beat you through the air Posted by inelishaitrust on 12/11 at 1:50 pm The teams who were able to contain him on the ground this year (Florida 17-60, LSU 17-27, Ole Miss 20-129, Alabama 18-92) were for the most part able to contain JFF. He threw for just 173 yards against Florida, 191 against Ole Miss with two interceptions. And 276 with three picks on 56 attempts agai...Posted on: Jump to Post View Topic |

| Ole Miss is awesome thread Posted by inelishaitrust on 11/24 at 11:21 pm This is a huge moment for the program. We went 2-10 last year and lost 31-3 to a then 5-6 Mississippi State. What Hugh Freeze was able to do in a year with players so few and so young is incredible. The guy is a winner and he's going to win a great many games at Ole Miss. This was the tipping point....Posted on: Jump to Post View Topic |
| I'm claiming moral victory Posted by inelishaitrust on 11/18 at 1:11 am We took 59 "healthy" scholarship players down to death valley and played our hearts out. We had a walk-on starting at corner and a 300 pound Defensive Tackle on the Punt Coverage team. I don't think we'll make it to a bowl game this year, I doubt we have enough warm bodies to beat state, but Freeze ...Posted on: Jump to Post View Topic |
| The new SEC schedule is a travesty Posted by inelishaitrust on 11/17 at 1:59 pm When Mizzou visits Oxford next year, After the Rebels visit Columbia in 2014, The teams will not play each other in conference play again for an entire decade. That's what the new schedule does. SEC teams play the same 7 conference teams every year, and play the other 6 twice every 12 years. The old ...Posted on: Jump to Post View Topic |
