I think he said about 20 new beers, he said there would be a craft beer "explosion" in this area. Lets hope. | I saw someone ask about the beer place in downtown LC earlier. It's ok, mostly the same stuff they have everywhere else. The only things I found there that I haven't gotten other places was Clown Shoes. The manager there is really nice and actually ordered a few things for me that they didn't have on the shelf. I'm excited to hear about new stuff at Hokus. I'll try to go check it out later this week. Along those lines, I do have some more good news that LC is going to be getting Goose Island soon. I would think LA would get some on a pretty limited basis as well, but you never know. I actually just traded a bottle of Abyss for a 4pack of 2012 BCBS. I've never had it, so I'm pretty excited. | It was not in the system when I was there. The guy came out with a four pack. I said "Sir, I wouldn't waste your time for just a four pack, can I have some more?" He started laughing pretty hard. Said he would sell me every damn one of em. I figured I would be nice to Envy though so I left a couple. When I was checking out, he asked me how I knew they had it in. I told him there was a beer crew just waiting for them to get their new stuff in and we all talk. He almost seemed a little nervous. Almost like he was looking at a beer mafia or something.
