Did Nike have a Super Bowl commercial? Posted by Paul Allen I don't recall seeing any shoe company with an ad. What gives? The Air Jordan SB commercials were awesome back in the day. Reply Back to Top

Posted by Tim Taylor on 2/4 at 5:56 pm to TorNation Nike doesn't need one. When your next biggest competitor in the market had $10 billion less in revenue than you in the previous year, you don't need to do much advertising. Reply Back to Top |
Yeah, you could have said that about Nike in the 90's Reply Back to Top
Nike just signed Rory and they're pairing him up with Tiger in a lot of new ads. Super Bowl ads cost like 4 million a year. They can pass on that and use their ad dollars in better spots. The impact of a SB ad would have been minimal considering the cost. Reply Back to Top

They did have their logo plastered all over 22 players on every snap though, so they probably figured their brand had enough air time. Reply Back to Top
