Agreed. Maybe if enough of these states buck up and do this, it would show that not everyone thinks like NY.

Uh, the fed government can enforce the laws.

This just complicates an already complicated issue. It is still illegal for anything that is federally illegal.

At least as far as I know. And I could be wrong here.

It just makes the situation potentially a problem for citizens of the state who make think they are now allowed to own those things when in fact they are not.

There is none. And I heard of some people getting arrested and prosecuted by the federal government in those states for pot.

Considering that the dea is still active in those states and prosecuting pot means they will still prosecute any laws like those as well.
