| The Judge: Immigration is a Natural Right Posted by joshnorris14 LINK / And he is absolutely right. What you consider immigration, is really just freedom of movement. Reply Back to Top |
quote:I've actually started to come around to this view myself. Freedom of movement seems pretty basic to me. Reply Back to Top |
| As long as freedom of movement doesn't result in me paying for that movement, which it invariably will. Reply Back to Top |

quote: Nothing really. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Well then you should focus your solutions on the problem (paying for the movement). Reply Back to Top |

Posted by Revelator on 1/30 at 11:58 pm to joshnorris14 quote: Why not? Illegals should have the right to go wherever they want according to you. If a countries border doesn't matter, certainly something as trivial as your door or walls shouldn't impede the immigrants movements?! This post was edited on 1/30 at 11:59 pm Reply Back to Top |

| I could come around to this but the problem is that you shouldn't be allowed to cross the border and feast on government goodies paid for by taxpayers on day one. The pilgrims endured some harsh consequences when they showed up. When the Mayflower landed, no one handed them shite. Reply Back to Top |
quote: I agree. But again, the problem isn't immigration, it's the welfare. Reply Back to Top |

quote: Right on. If the deal was, "hey come on in if you want but once you get here, if you don't work, you don't eat", immigration would naturally regulate itself. Reply Back to Top |

quote: So it's my land? Reply Back to Top |
