I've been thinking that Eades is the major variable for some time now. Hope this isn't a bad sign. Reply Back to Top

Great stuff! Glad they continue to improve the Box. It really is the premiere spot in college baseball sans the concessions. Reply Back to Top

| what i remember from the scrimmage (just the part i saw): Sciambra rbi triple, walk, steal, and 2 runs scored rhymes rbi infield single and sac fly, dropped a flyball in foul territory Katz 0-2 with a pretty boneheaded error that cost a run. Jacoby only had 1 at bat that i saw. opposite field double. Barash only had 1 at bat that i saw. single through the left side Ross was 0-2 i think. definitely had 1 K. Bregman went 1-2 with an rbi single and a popup in foul territory (nice over the should catch by chinea playing 1st at the time). Laird was on base when i got there but i missed his at bat. He got out in his 2nd at bat Stevenson had an infield single Reynolds got roughed up for 3 runs Lamarche gave up a run without a hit (walk, steal, wild pitch, sac fly) Berry pitched around Jacoby's leadoff double Bougeois threw a scoreless frame Glenn gave up a run due to Katz's error. | Any update from today's scrimmage or did rain impact it? I'm not in BR Reply Back to Top |
Bregman is a star. Reply Back to Top
i got there and it was in the 7th. and they didnt play the bottom of the 9th. i think they probably just played 2 1/2 innings and started in the 7th. Reply Back to Top

quote: He laid down a nice bunt down the 3B line and beat out a single despite a nice play by Moore. Laird is going to reach base a lot on infield singles. Reply Back to Top |
I'm rooting for laird to win right. Reply Back to Top
I like his speed for sure. It is going to be good to have an athletic OF. Laird appears to be a "slap hitter" that will get on base many times because of his speed. It does not look like he is a pure hitter, but his speed will put lots of pressure on the opposing defense. Reply Back to Top
Wow, didn't realize Yocom was still on the team. How did Mcmullen and Stevenson look? This post was edited on 1/29 at 10:35 pm Reply Back to Top
In the four or so at bats each ive seen them take stevenson got two infield hits and mcmullen has gotten out all 4 times. Reply Back to Top Refresh
