are you asking which stats do you focus on? if its 5x5, they are all equally have the same value. Cant really focus on any one specific. Reply Back to Top
No, more asking what you use to gage how a player is going to do this year. Anything special you use to determine who is about to breakout? Reply Back to Top
-age -talent/potential -team makeup -what have you done for me lately -likelihood of bouncing back -value to relative draft position This post was edited on 1/25 at 6:28 pm Reply Back to Top
K/9 and ab/hr is a good stat to use for guys who may not have gotten an extended look in the bigs. For instance, Edwin encarnacion's ab/hr hinted he could have nice power numbers if given a chance. Jeff Samardjza would be a good pitcher example. Metrics really don't play that big of a role, though. You win by having guys who produce in your 5x5 categories, plain and simple Reply Back to Top
I tend to just go for the guys with dreadlocks Reply Back to Top

I was one of those guys every year he played in Cincinnati. That's why I hate that dude today. Reply Back to Top
In prospects I look for at least a walk for every 10 ABs and an OBP above .340. I'll take a shot on prospects who don't have a lot HRs but have a lot of doubles. It's only a matter of time before some of those doubles become HRs For pitcher prospects it's all a out WHIP a d K/9 Reply Back to Top

An overlooked stat is the HBP, don't forget to check that. Reply Back to Top Refresh
