Tracy Porter 2 game-winning INTs against 2 HOF QBs. Reply Back to Top
The Saints just had a knack for getting turnovers on defense that year. The biggest thing I can attribute that to was Darren Sharper's presence at the safety position. I believe he helped put the back 4 (5 in dime) in the right positions to make plays. He was one smart football player. Reply Back to Top
To this day ive never jumped as high as I did when he made that interception. Reply Back to Top

quote: Haha, man you're right. BOTH of those moments give me the chills every time. I think the "after Katrina" chills are different and it was such a relief after so much sadness. The Hartley kick was one of the happiest moments in my entire sports watching life. I almost jumped into my ceiling fan and lost my voice from yelling running up and down the street! BTW, love when Bush decleats the plushy haha Reply Back to Top |

I was at a friend's house and we all took our cars and drove down barataria honking then going to brother's to get some meat pies and drinks. everyone was inside hugging and high fiving. For me, I think getting there and the fashion we did it was better than the SB victory. It just played out throughout the year: the lucky breaks, the brink of losing on our path to 13-0 and pulling an improbable win, and when hope was slim a pick to seal it into OT in a game we should have probably lost. It was "destiny" like people like to call it, but it was the greatest moment in sports history for this city. Reply Back to Top Refresh
