| Adding a hard drive to xbox 360 Posted by rmc I am contemplating buying a hard drive to add to my xbox (4GB flash memory only). I'm not paying for the official microsoft xbox hd that is marked up like 90% over retail of the same drive that isn't official.  on 1/20 at 8:56 amQuestion: is it as simple as buying a 2.5" SATA hard drive and formatting in the correct format and plugging it in? There are also some after market unofficial Xbox HDs you can get on ebay for like $40 You can also use 32 GB thumb drives on any Xbox for storage. | Yes, there are plenty of Youtube videos. Consider that the next xbox is right around the corner. If you need the space now then do what you need to do. If you are just trying to plan ahead you may want to invest it into the 720. Reply • Back to Top |
