Immersion Blender Recommendations Posted by schexyoung I'm about to get into more soup making, and I'm looking at immersion blenders. I know little to nothing about indoor kitchen appliances. Is there a better brand, specifc features, one to stay away from? TIA Reply Back to Top
I got a nice heavy duty one from Richard's Restaurant Supply in Houma last year. The have good prices and shipping. Reply Back to Top
I got the Cuisinart CSB-76 SmartStick 200-Watt for my GF for Christmas and she loves it. She's used it for soups, dressings and even last night for pasta sauce. Blended up carrots, celery and onions in about 45 seconds. Reply Back to Top

Thanks for the link. How much did you pay? Reply Back to Top
I can't recall( I also bought a 1/2 hp meat grinder). I do remember their prices are very competitive, though. The grinder was much cheaper than the same size from Cabela's. give them a call before you buy. Reply Back to Top
