| Should they remake Man with the Golden Gun but use a different title? Posted by prplhze2000 If you read the book, its great.  on 1/13 at 1:32 amBond is brainwashed, tries to assassinate M. Is restored to full mental health. Then sent to hunt Scaramanga. The first movie never turned it into a real manhunt, they were trying to hard to be funny. | my point is, there were several movies where they REALLY got away from the books they were based upon. That was one. I liked the way it started, he tried to kill M and then they reformed him and sent him on a manhunt. They could have alot of fun with that in a script. | They should remake all the Ian Flemming titles. In the age of Hollywood writers being lazy and going into full reboot mode, I honestly don't know why this hasn't been done.
