| Yeah, it was brought up a bit when Auburn hired him. Saban tried something new with Applewhite, didn't like it, and was hunting for a more traditional coach who would run what he told him. He came from Carr, so it looked good on paper. Ended up dodging a bullet that ultimately escalates into a landmine for Auburn years later.
