| Dandy Don doin work today Posted by mwade91383 His report today is particularly good and speaks to most of our remaining targets, including some guys that certainly weren't on my radar. Here's one and you can read more here. "Eddie Jackson (CB/WR, 6'2", 175, Fort Lauderdale, FL) - This is a relatively new name to surface. Jackson played wide receiver in high school but is being looked at as a CB by LSU. At this point he appears to be a strong lean to FSU, but he'll be visiting LSU this weekend, and you never know what could happen once he’s in the Red Stick. After his visit I'll reevaluate his percentage, but for now I'll go with: 35/65" Also he interviews Mike Detiller about all the early draft departures. Short but good read as well, worth checking out here. Thanks Scott for all your work and carrying on your dad's efforts!!!! Reply Back to Top |

quote: Not only that, but people also want to praise the staffs recruiting and talent eval, but then bitch when it pays off and guys go to the NFL. You can't have it both ways. If you bring in really talented players, the NFL is going to want them. Reply Back to Top |
| Thsi article has made everything feel better. I am so geeked up to see some of these freshman and younger guys get some playing time. Win Lose or Draw to compare LSU to the the new U is huge. I am comfortable saying that even if we are 9-3 or 8-4 next year we will be back in national championship stride in 2014 for the playoffs. Reply Back to Top |
| Stop. Please. We will win 10 games. We are LSU and have talent. Stop with this rebuilding crap. Reply Back to Top |
quote: This. @ Alabama and @ Georgia are the two toss up games next year. Joe A should beat the shite out of the SEC scheduler (Alabama grad) who gave Alabama a cake-walk SECE schedule for 2 straight years while handing LSU the toughest. Reply Back to Top |
quote: And this is why this sport needed a playoff; to offset the biases but 4 isnt enough. No USCe, UGA, or Florida 2 straight years while lsu plays 2 of 3 both years. What a crock of shite. This post was edited on 1/10 at 9:32 am Reply Back to Top |

| Good links, thanks. It sucks to lose all these guys, but sometimes it's good for a program to get a fresh start - 'reset' if you will, with younger players. And our younger players are better than most. It's also good to see an objective, unemotional opinion on the offense from outside the program. The offense obviously has problems. But they're fixable, if the staff is willing to change just a little. If. Reply Back to Top |
Posted by ChuckSteak on 1/10 at 10:41 am to Ash Williams Hmm...I didn't really notice Bama's schedule with the SECe...to pull Mizzou and the Vols while your biggest rival pulls USCe and Florida is slightly out of balance... The Tigers will continue to be a 10+ win team for years to come...and when we go undefeated again, it will be indisputable with scheduling like that. Again. similar to last years schedule... quote: 6 of them are redshirts though. That's why i kind of think RS is a waste of time for most positions. QB, ok, maybe some OL, otherwise, use them on ST and some mop up duty. Reply Back to Top |
