| Progression of Vasquez Posted by corndeaux Nice read on how much he has improved. Agree with the author both in how wrong I was about him and also where he ranks among pgs. LINK quote: Reply Back to Top |
| Good read. The guy has been playing well. Reply Back to Top |
| I only watched the last couple of mins and he turned the ball over twice in consecutive possessions during a crucial part of the game. I am guessing he played well enough earlier in the game to be getting this love. Reply Back to Top |
| He's grown on me. I'm loving the way he's running this offense. Reply Back to Top |

Vasquez getting a mention in a HW article on the MIP race. quote: LINK / Reply Back to Top |
| Nice link. I doubt Vasquez will win it, though he should be a heavy favorite at this point. The award never goes to guys that actually get better, just guys that finally get more minutes/expanded roles. Case in point Ryan Anderson last year. Reply Back to Top |
| Awesome to see a national site take notice. Cool interview with Davis a little lower too. Reply Back to Top |
| I've always like Vasquez's game, but was never sure how it would translate. He's been a really nice surprise. His understanding of the game, vision, and knack for finding angles are among the best in the league at his position. Makes up for his lack of explosion and limited scoring ability in big ways. | good read. ...Vasquez has had a surprisingly good year, and he's been even better lately. quote: it doesn't have to stop here. why can't he keep improving? He's 25 with only 62 starts Reply Back to Top |
quote: His biggest negatives are his defense and turnovers and those are mostly attributable to him being slow. He might improve his shooting a bit, but he's already doing a pretty good job of that. I'd say what we're seeing now is about as good as he gets, but he did get a Western Conference Player of the Week award last week... Reply Back to Top |
| Another article highlighting Vazquez. Win one WCPOW award and everyone pays attention all of a sudden LINK Reply Back to Top |
| I like GV better that Jeremy Lin. Reply Back to Top |
