| Fanaika will play a huge role nex season with the departure of Chris Faulk Reply Back to Top |
| Does that make our numbers 26 right now or are they already considered part of last years signing class. Reply Back to Top |
| They count back to last year. they will count in the number of players coming, prob around 27. So 25 plus those 2 counting back. Im just saying the coaches seem set on 27 as the number even though they can count back 4 for only having 21 last year. With srs and early entrys and tm7, we seem to have lost 25-26 players. So i would assume wed have to lose 1 or 2 more to get to 27 for the class and stay under 85. This post was edited on 1/10 at 1:15 am Reply Back to Top |
| I think we are at 26 right now and can go to 29 Reply Back to Top |

quote: I don't think he can play tackle...unless you are saying he'll play guard and Collins will move over. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Didn't we recruit Collins as a tackle? It'd be nice to be able to plug in some experienced depth, even if it is just JUCO Reply Back to Top |
| I thought the coaches have said that Collins will stay at guard because they've spent so much time training him for that position and that position is the lynchpin for the o-line. Maybe left and right guard are becoming more important to the team than your tackles. Look at the Saints and what other NFL teams are doing. Reply Back to Top |
| Tackles are still more important. The saints have better guards because our draft picks panned out. The saints tackles are hot garbage and if drew brees didn't have the best pocket presence in the country he would be on his back 50% of the time. Reply Back to Top |
| Hasn't been much discussion about Avery Johnson in regard to projected depth chart position in 2013. This spring he will get to find his place on the team. I'm hoping he'll be "better than expected." Is he WR only, or could he possibly play another position -- e.g. cornerback? Reply Back to Top |
quote: Well we can go 29 because we can count back 4. But we still need 29 players to leave to stay under 85. Which is why ive seen countless times the coaches are going 27. They knew these jrs were leaving, and seems we have room for 26-27. Reply Back to Top Refresh |
