Republicans have given, Dems have not Posted by beebefootballfan quote: LINK So Republicans give on the taxes issue a little, but when it comes to spending the Dems are wanting to continue kicking the can down the road? Reply Back to Top
frick our republican reps. I say vote third party and boot all their asses come mid term. Reply Back to Top
Democrats spend money like a 13 yr old girl would with an unlimited credit card in the mall. Spending money is like an instinct to them. They cant control themselves. Reply Back to Top

We all know Dems love spending tax payers money.. Reply Back to Top
If I were Republicans I would give the Democrats whatever they want. Let them own this term and prove to the American people that the Democrats, not the Republicans, have the ideas that will lead to our untimely demise. Reply Back to Top

quote: Do you think most in this country have any idea what is going on? Dems or Reps or where the blame falls? That is the problem. Most people have not clue much less care who really is at fault. They go with the heard. That is where the problem is. Not with the reps or dems. Reply Back to Top |
And we're already in a bad bad spot. I hate to think where we are gonna be 2 years from now Reply Back to Top

Posted by thetempleowl on 12/31 at 6:20 pm to LSUgusto Yeah, I just don't see Obama giving in at all. And frankly I am more than a bit stunned about how the media is covering it. The republicans gave in quite a bit. But where are the spending cuts? Obama is frankly pissing me off... Reply Back to Top |
Honest to God. at this point it's hard for me to tell who's given what. I support targeted tax increases. But I'm increasingly fearful that my Democratic leadership has not been willing to get serious enough about spending reduction and entitlement reforms. Reply Back to Top

Talk about spending all day boys.. it's a big deal, but a branch issue. The core of our problems can be solved, and if we do that it changes the playing field for all these branch issues. As long as we allow an entity to loan us our currency into existence, it really doesn't matter how much or little we spend, how much parties compromise.. none of that matters. Until we fix the root of our national debt. This post was edited on 12/31 at 9:47 pm Reply Back to Top
