quote: I hadn't played it in 5 or 6 years until I recently got a 3DS. It really is probably the greatest game of all-time. It holds up incredibly well over time. eta: How has Goldeneye not been mentioned. eta2: I skimmed too quickly. Goldeneye was mentioned. This post was edited on 12/12 at 9:00 pm Reply Back to Top |
| Shadows of the Empire was so legit. Star Fox and Zelda were great too. There was a lot of great games for this console. I'm surprised it only sold 33 million units. Reply Back to Top |
I would have to go with Zelda there. quote: WrestleMania 2000 Reply Back to Top |
quote: Thanks for the link, that brought back some good memories. I damn near have the entire Red Sox lineup still memorized from when I brought them to the World Series multiple times. The good old days. My favorites (outside of your traditional Zelda, goldeneye, Mario, etc.) were Blitz, Hangtime, Excitebike64, Rush, and MLB feat KGJr ETA: shite forgot about Harvest Moon! Countless hours spent in that one. This post was edited on 12/12 at 9:48 pm Reply Back to Top |

| If you are in BR, run over to the GameWare on College tomorrow, they have a ton of N64 games if you want something other than what you have. Reply Back to Top |

| Two "rare" gems (Less than 100k of both were made for the US region) are Ogre Battle and Harvest Moon (easily the best of the entire series). If you like strategy, definitely pick up Ogre battle. It's the best strategy game I've ever played on a console, and it ranks high for the overall genre. The nice thing about it is that it's incredibly detailed RPG style play, but its true strategy, not tactics based click fests like SC2. You do all of your thinking and planning pre battle. The actuall fights between army squads is pretty much all automated. The only commands you can make is AI changes (target commander, target strongest, target weakest), to retreat, or to use a Pedra (an elemental based ultimate move) My one complaint with the game is how useless legions are.... Incredibly deep, and storyline wise offers multiple paths and endings, a real novelty for its day This post was edited on 12/13 at 12:37 am Reply Back to Top |
Definitely Star Fox. quote:Super Smash Bros. 64 Greatest fighting game ever created. Fox, Kirby, Donkey Kong, and Luigi = no cotest Reply Back to Top |
| Star Fox Ocarina of Time MFL ft KGJ In that order, then go buy Goldeneye, 3 more controllers and invite friends over. Reply Back to Top Refresh |
