re: Colorado hires San Jose State's Mike MacIntyrequote: Unless I'm mistaken, SJS doesn't have the entrance requirements of Colorado. They haven't been letting in the borderline student-athletes at Colorado since Gary Barnett was there AFAIK. An administration willing to take a few athletes of questionable academic background can make the difference between a good squad and a great squad or a bad squad and a mediocre squad. | MacIntyre was custom made for SEC. SEC roots, he has pro football experience, and he could have competed with Stoops easily. I think UT messed up that one, and UK to a point. But he messed up going to CU. Reply • Back to Top |
