| re: 2014 Rivals 250 released I did the Rivals 250 2014 message chat earlier today and asked several questions to the guys that do the scouting for the south. Apparently Fournette,Tony Brown,Gerald Willis,Cam Robinson, and Lawrence "hootie" Jones are all LSU's to lose. Im pretty excited about next yrs class. Reply Back to Top |
| They also said that Jones and Robinson just missed being a 5 star. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Interesting they think Landon Collins' brother is a lock to LSU. I know he originally came out and didn't even mention Alabama as a school of interest, but we all should know better on this one. His brother is going to be a huge pull, but it looks like he's currently not considering 3-4 schools and only schools who run a 4-3. Reply Back to Top |
| Robinson will be a 5 star unless they just don't want to give one to a single OL. Reply Back to Top |
| 247 has eclipsed rivals, rivals is behind the game these days LINK Reply Back to Top |
| I thought the Hardeman commit wasnt going to stick. apparently it wasn't exactly accepted with open arms, or maybe I heard wrong Reply Back to Top |
| ....Clemson with 4 commits already. $$$$ Reply Back to Top |
Posted by Cincinnati Bowtie on 11/12 at 6:24 pm to jsquardjj Wow, Rivals doesn't even have a profile on a top 20 player in LA, Seione Palelei from East Ascension. He's being recruited by LSU, Bama, BYU, Utah and UCLA.Reply Back to Top |

Posted by Cincinnati Bowtie on 11/12 at 11:27 pm to Louie T Thanks, Louie. I think I spelled his first name wrong in my search. The profile needs updating, he's 5'9, 190 now, ran a 4.32 at the National Underclassmen Combine and got MVP of Bama's Camp. Had a great year despite an inexperienced O-Line and poor QB play. Mom and Dad loved talking to Les after the LSU Camp and was told they'd like him to be their change of pace that Gore was supposed to be. Reply Back to Top |
| Still can't believe he is former ulm and chargers lb Steve Foleys son..I went to school with him...doesn't seem like it's been that long ago Reply Back to Top |
quote: You heard wrong....hardeman equals stud. It wouldn't have committed by his name if he wasn't a commit. Only way it doesn't stick is if he decides to decommit. Reply Back to Top |
quote: So is he having a good year or what? Growing at all? The biggest knock to me was his size Reply Back to Top |
| So we could easily have 10 of the Top 100 players for 14'. I recall some quotes from guys in the 2014 class stating that they are looking forward to winning a few NC's together. I hope it's one of those years where we lock down the entire state...and cherry pick a few from our neighbors. Reply Back to Top |
| at this point, the only concern we have for 2014 is if some of the wrs or db don't want to be in a class with 5 top 100 players at that position. look at noil, quinn, sims, dupre, williams (jc), brown, jones, paris, harvey, voorhies, hardeman ets. even look at the ol, robinson, bauer, clapp, brumfield. a lot of talent at the same position, this is our toughest sell. quote: Does have a great name. But, regardless of his name, hes 1 of the most best play maker and exciting players in the nation. Absolute burner. Mike Wallace is his cousin. Very dynamic athlete. Edna Karr is so stacked right now its ridiculous. Reply Back to Top |
| So is Kain Daub and afterthought now? Do we think he doesn't have a chance of signing here anymore? Reply Back to Top |
quote: No, he is still a possibility. He just wanted to visit other places. The guy is young and I totally understand him wanting to check out everything before wrapping up his process. This is a big decision. I hope we land him in the end though. Reply Back to Top Refresh |
