| re: Arizona poll: Obama leads by 2% I was waiting for you, or Toddy, to post this absurd poll. 1) Poll of Registered Voters, not likely voters 2) Of those registered voters polled, 30% are hispanic. 3) Hispanics make up 30% of Arizona's population 4) Hispanics only make up like 20% of Arizonas registered voters 5) Hispanics in Arizona have never made up more than 18% of actual voters in the state 6) Percent of registered voters who frankly admit they will probably not vote in the 2012 election. Republicans 4% Conservatives 10 Liberals 11 Democrats 15 Latino 24 7)so 24% of Hispanics, 26% of Democrats, and only 14% of Republicans say they won't most likely won't vote. 8) The poll is bunk for a large number of reasons. quote: There actually is it is just hidden. In their methodology section they state that they weighted the results to bring them in line with the population proportions of the state. This post was edited on 10/14 at 6:36 pm Reply Back to Top |

quote: Note too that in this poll 12% of Republicans say they will vote for Obama. I highly question that. It also shows the male vote dead even. I question that as well. Reply Back to Top |

| Why do some of you like it when otto is banned? Seriously, I find him to be one of the most entertaining posters on the Poli Board. His threads always make me His posts often make me And he is a true inspiration. Everytime I read one of his posts I think,"Thank God I'm not otto!" Reply Back to Top |

quote:You have a point. I would much rather DA or Rex be banned. Their flames are not funny. Otto's are. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Otto's trouble doesn't seem to stem from his flaming, his propaganda, or even his failed attempts at creating alters. It would appear it comes from pissing off the admins with his incessant whining about being picked on for all of the above. Otto's the kid that sucker punches you, then runs and tries to hide behind his big brother. Reply Back to Top |
| Otto is not hateful like the two you mentioned. He's just simpleminded and sorta sad. If I start a thread on the Help Board asking for clemency for otto, will any of you second my request? Reply Back to Top |
quote: quote: quote: Even though I'm a Gary Johnson voter, I want them all unbanned and posting if Romney wins so we can see them meltdown like never before. Would be awesome to watch as long they do it in a way that doesn't get them quickly banned. Reply Back to Top |
quote: Take note of the following quote: "All the indicators are that Arizona's in play,” said Jim Haynes, president of the nonpartisan, Phoenix-based Behavior Research Center, which conducts election polls. “The voters are obviously restless and wrestling with what they're going to do in November,” Haynes said. “There's still a lot of question marks in their minds. And as things unfold positively and negatively on behalf of each one of them, I think people are going to bounce back and forth.” A recent poll by the Behavior Research Center showed that 42 percent of the 511 registered voters contacted across the state supported Obama, that 40 percent supported Romney and that 18 percent were unsure." -dated APRIL 30, 2012 That is the ONLY other poll, other than the one released today, that shows Obama ahead. So where did this new one come from? Perhaps this other statement by Mr. Haynes back in April sheds some light: "“Arizona's a symbolic state now, for both sides,” he said. “It's big stuff for a Democratic candidate to be able to say, `I'm running neck and neck in a state like Arizona.’ The flip side is that Romney has a strong interest in keeping the so-called faith base safe. “We're going to get a lot of attention paid to Arizona,” Haynes added." A "lot of attention" in Arizona has been lacking, and thus a lack of attention to his polls. Popping out with this unexpected poll puts his company and his state back in the news. Or so he is hoping ... as it will be good for business. LINK / Reply Back to Top |

quote: I could do that...provided he just admits what he did re: the whole housemate thing (you should really be contrite in order to receive forgiveness, plus it would defuse the issue) and that he stops running to the Help Board like a whiny little bitch every time he has an issue. That would protect him from himself. Reply Back to Top |
| Excellent information. Thanks. Reply Back to Top |
