| Cee Lo was kinda foolish pairing up the two of them. Like Christina last season with the two gospel singers. But this time Cee Lo improved the team of a rival coach with a very talented singer, he not only lost a great singer from his own team but improved the chances of his rival winning by providing such a talent. Granted he didn't know she was anywhere near as good as she is just based on her blind audition. But hey, that is what Cee Lo gets. | Jotted my thoughts down on my phone last night. I'll catch up with the thread later, but wanted to get them in here before I left for a work trip.. Blake, good call on Terry. I never really liked that fat country dude too much. Adam, good call on Brian, even though I thought Colin did well. I definitely like the whole steal thing, but it's really awkward when Carson is like "Okay, remember that you can steal so-and-so if you want to.." and then nobody does anything. Couldn't believe Cee Lo went with Diego...JR is really good I think. Also a little surprised nobody stole him..I thought that would happen for sure. D'Vorah calling Billy Joe Armstrong "Green Day" was pretty funny. That battle was weird and didn't seem to be broken up too well. Nelly sang like the whole first verse and chorus before D'Vorah even sang anything. They usually seem to try to split it up better than that. And I thought Nelly won that one, but they all were on D'Vorah...and she did well, but I do wonder if it was her story that was the reason more than her voice though.. Gracia definitely won her battle...I feel like duos aren't really made for the battle round. Also, sucks that the mom knew she was holding her daughter back. She's gonna feel bad about that for a while. Also, Gracia's boobs were awesome. Adam wanted to steal her so bad..even tried backhandedly talking Blake into the whole "They both did equally well" thing.  Vision of Love battle was fricking badass. Angela should've never picked Valerie in the blind audition...her voice is awesome and that song didn't showcase that at fricking all. I loved how Cee Lo immediately knew he fricked up with the pairing once rehearsals started. It was awesome that all three other judges were like "Let's get on with this...I'm trying to steal Valerie.." And agreed that Trevor going nuts for the steal for Angela was awesome. | Nice summary except for the boobs. I didn't notice those. Cee Lo has to be still regretting pairing those two. I agree that's the best battle I've seen. They should have placed it later because I don't know if it can be topped. Reply • Back to Top |
