Help with sports management degree Posted by GeorgiaTide I just changed my major from general studies to sports management so my associates degree will have some meaning to it. The school I'm at now has pretty limited degree options so I picked the one that sounded the most interesting to me. What kind of entry-level jobs does this degree correlate to? I've looked all over the Internet and haven't really found much info on it. Reply Back to Top

Maybe law school and become a sports agent? Work in the athletics dept and eventually an Athletic Director? Reply Back to Top

Unless you do internships (mostly unpaid), get to know people, or both it'll be tough to get a good job Reply Back to Top
I figured an associates wouldn't do much. I mean would it be worth pursuing a bachelors in that or sports administration? I'm planning on transferring after finishing my associates. Reply Back to Top

I did the exact same thing. I got my associates in general studies then my bachelors in sports management. I work offshore now you could do like some said and go the agent route or try to work your way up through an athletic dept. Be prepared to bust your arse to find a job (they all want experience) and get ready to not make shite for a while... Reply Back to Top
