Posted by udtiger It's not his craziness, or his unpredictablity, but the fact that he's completely unconstrained by anything remotely close to what could be considered the truth. Reply Back to Top |

Posted by TheRammerJammer on 10/7 at 8:55 am to udtiger Biden is going to come out as an angry old out of touch man.... Ryan will come out as the cool, calm good looking young man Biden - Old School and out of times Ryan - Cutting edge, new generation Reply Back to Top |
| No the problem is expectations. If Biden doesn't drool on himself it will be considered a victory. Sorry, Biden is going to win this round. Luckily, it will only cast darker shadows on Obama to be shown up by his VP. Reply Back to Top |
quote: You are insane... The only way Biden wins the debate is if Ryan doesn't show and even then it may be questionable. Reply Back to Top |
quote: This is why I think the real risk is Ryan looking like a bully, the tough kid on the playground verbally abusing a helpless old fool. He may have to reign it in some. Reply Back to Top |
| Biden wins if he doesn't shoot his dick verbally on stage. Reply Back to Top |
| Ryan's main problem is that expectations for Biden are so low that as long as Biden doesn't wet his pants and rattle off a string of vulgarities it will be hard to say he didn't do ok. Reply Back to Top |
| I know you must have watched Paul Ryan take obama and Biden to task during the healthcare round table. Ryan as an ability to expose and explain BS to even the most simple of us. He'll do fine. Reply Back to Top |

| Biden has a lot of experience, and will probably try to win on charm and being "good ole Joe". Ryan has a challenge on his hands, but he can do it. I hope he doesn't get too technical, like Jindal tends to do, and ruin his appeal. Reply Back to Top |
quote: It's all about optics. In the same regard men can't go too hard after female opponents or else they end up looking like they are beating up a woman. It's stupid but that's politics and human nature. Reply Back to Top |
quote:Yes, I think the only concern is whether he'll make Biden look so bad that it evokes sympathy and sways the emotionally (vs. fact) focused element of the voting public. Biden and the media will also say that Ryan lied, and/or he doesn't believe or plan to do what he says; is heartless and wants to kill puppies, grannies and Big Bird, and similar crapola. I hope the viewing audience is close to last week's debate so people can see for themselves. Reply Back to Top |
quote: I agree. Wait, you are talking about Ryan, aren't you? Reply Back to Top |
| biden is a clown, but you dont last 30 years on the national stage without having some tricks up your sleeve Reply Back to Top |
| Sarah Palin held her own against this old worn out fool four years ago. Ryan has an intellect 10-times greater than Palin. Ryan's gonna rip the Depends off of this fool and dispose of him like he was last weeks garbage. Reply Back to Top |

quote: Is that this debate is less consequential than the previous inconsequential presidential debate. Reply Back to Top |
quote:That debate has swung some critical swing-state polls and replenished the RR campaign donations, not to mention reenergizing what was becoming a dying race. How can you call that inconsequential? Reply Back to Top Refresh |
