Meanwhile, Romney is hiding his tax returns but that's OK. Not pretty.

What a fricking idiot

I just watched the video. What I saw was one of America's greatest CEO's saying the employment numbers for the last two months don't add up. They are out of line with this current economy. It is suspicious.

He did more than say that the numbers seemed out of whack, in his tweet, he accused the Obama administration and the Labor Department of corruption. As Matthews pointed out, it would be Nixonian if Obama got caught doing that. Welch looked pathetic when he crawfished, unlike Harry Reid who dug in when Romney challenged him about his accusations about not paying taxes for some years.

I'm not going to brag about it. It is what it is.

The GOP are who is bringing this to the forefront. And it's a lose lose for them.

It highlights the improvement, and they look like loons like the other fringe GOP.

They don't understand facts and science and data. The GOP need to purge out the crazies.

Romney can prove him to be a liar by releasing his tax returns but he won't.

Not if you're Christ Matthews.
He's really interested in exploring the allegations, isn't he?

Why would he pursue an allegation of something that's not plausible?

"It's not the nature of the evidence. It's the seriousness of the charge."

Seriously, the numbers raised a lot of eyebrows because they don't make sense on the surface. When you do dig into them, there are some oddities, as Welch pointed out. Was Matthews the least bit curious about that? Of course not. He was lashing out at the allegation because, as he has already confessed, he thinks it's his job to help this president.
