| Kinda like closing GITMO, pulling the troops out, lowering the debt, not taxing the middle class, prosecuting terrorist in NYC, stance on gay marriage, and transparency in government? Reply Back to Top |
quote: You may want to read that again buddy..... •"I'm proud of what we've done. If Massachusetts succeeds in implementing [Romneycare], then that will be a model for the nation." Speech in Baltimore, 2007 •"[Romneycare] is something that was crafted for Massachusetts. It would be wrong to adopt this as a nation." Presidential primary debate, 2011 Reply Back to Top |
quote: There are major differences in "ROMNEYCARE" and OBAMACARE.. The biggest is that RC required NO INCREASE IN TAXES! Reply Back to Top |

quote: no pig in a poke. I loved when Romney actually changed to a totally new position on taxes, when he countered his own words said during the primary. He is now pretending he never said things I heard him say. Its tough to explain every bit of it, because there is no much angst like cough constant who pretends we should vote NO, rather than look at the choices. Its ONLY by voting NO that Obama loses. If you dare inspect the product being offered, you find its logic is not holding water. his ideas fail inspection. the numbers never add up. he tries to hide his numbers, so in some cases, all you have is him saying that would be up to Congress and we already know what the House has been about, so he is really endorsing Cantor and Boehner and Ryan, as they were, which was ignorant, and corrupt. Boehner trying to save his Ohio tank maintenance plant the Pentagon closed. corrupt to the hilt. Ryan actually got his bill endorsed and became the VP candidate. His medicare bill gives you a voucher which comes up short by an average of $6400 per person. everyone reading this will be on that plan. its going to cost you $6400 or its going to cost Mitt's Bain friends. Its up to you. Do you really want to pay for what is pre-paid now, just because the republicans scare you into believing that medicare will die? Its not going to die. its going to change. everything changes. you get to decide how to distribute our national wealth. I recommend you get serious about Romney's proposals. Constant's hope that its all on Obama is a fail, logically and morally. Be a man, constant, read some proposals and evaluate the claims. At the least, some of this is going to end up being bills. Those bills will reflect our common response to the proposals, and whom we vote for. I doubt you constant. I doubt you understand your own proposal, that we abjectly pretend Obama failed, when the market is double what Bush left us, we are out of Iraq, which bush left us, and the crashed housing market Bush left us is actually perking up. and you know that Mcconnell did all he could to undermine the economy. He just filibustered a bill to help 300,000 vets get employment. That was an all time low, as far as I know of. This post was edited on 10/5 at 6:12 pm Reply Back to Top |
quote: I can't stand Romney, but he absolutely wiped the floor with the President. On several occasions, Obama told bold faced lies that made his actions seem much better than they were and Romney still countered and crushed his points. Can you imagine how bad it would have been if Obama had to actually tell the truth? Reply Back to Top |
quote: You do know he warned in like 5 consecutive years it was coming. Not his fault no one heeded his warning. And by no one, I mean R and D alike. Reply Back to Top |
