Beat me to it. It is a no brainer as they are both from Japan. Reply Back to Top

I like the Japanese beer - I wouldn't go buy a 6er myself or anything, but when I see it on the menu I go for it - and it's only on the menu at Jap places Reply Back to Top
Try the unfiltered cold sake. It's white and milky, good stuff. Reply Back to Top
Sake is kind of like oysters if you're not eating the rolls and going for the sashimi. You want something clean and refreshing that won't overwhelm the fish itself. Sake is fine as well as a vodka based drink with little added (maybe a yuzu cucumber or ginger martini). As far as beer something light and clean as well would be the best choice. I would second the notion of a nigori sake (unfiltered) as they are easier to drink and delicious. Reply Back to Top
