| In his USA Today diary, Tyus Jones (one of the top players in the 2014 class) said Dante Exum was the best player he guarded all summer. So far, Exum's offer sheet is not that impressive. I'd say LSU is the biggest name so far. Surely that will change in the next year, but I hope he will keep in mind which schools looked at him first. Seems like a real difference maker on the court. | Lsu visits 4*sg devin booker ranked #27 rivals 2014 Reply Back to Top |
| I wondered if LSU would ever show any interest in him. Good pedigree. Dad is Melvin Booker who was all-league (All American?) at Missouri during early 1990s. I think his dad is his asst. coach at Moss Point in Mississippi. Reply Back to Top |
| Yes his dad is an asst. coach hopefully coach Kirby has some pull there Reply Back to Top |

| There is a kid from OP Walker listed on Scout as a '13. Jamaal Samuel. When I was looking him up, I found that he's already playing at South Plains College in Texas, the #1 ranked JC team in the country. 6'8" back up power forward on a pretty loaded team. Scout has him as 3star, but take that with a grain of salt considering they still think he's at OP Walker. He'll be a '14 JUCO guy. I wonder if he may be someone we look at in the future. Some of his teammates incluse a SMU commit and a former UNT player under Jones. They've played 3 games so far, and he's getting ok minutes, but seems to be making the most of them. | good find. could be worth a look if things don't work out with other targets. i also plan on watching several hs games this yera including ville platte to get a look at mike thomas. also, heard jordan cornish was offered by vcu this week. Reply Back to Top |
| Hey S, a few posts above you said Dominic Magee gets LSU offer. Was that your prediction or did he actually receive an offer? Reading that article about him, he seems like a really intriguing prospect. Deep shooter and excellent ballhandler. Long arms. Can play either guard spot. Reply Back to Top |
