Below is the basketball recruiting list for 2014 for LSU, as I currently know it. It is early and this info is very raw. As in our other threads, there will be many changes, updates, additions and subtractions. I welcome all contributions and corrections. Mike Thomas (PF/C, 6-9, 210) Ville Platte. Ranked No. 146 in the recently released Rivals 150, which is a 3-star rating. No schools list at this point. D'Angelo Allen (SF, 6-6, 185) Dallas Kimble. 4-star recruit ranked No. 72 nationally. Has a slew of offers from top programs. LSU has not offered but has shown interest and is considering an offer. Offers from Arkansas, Texas A&M, Marquette, Oklahoma, Providence, Oregon, Texas, Texas Tech, SMU and Oklahoma State. Many other programs, such as Kansas and Georgetown are interested, but have not offered. Dante Exum (SG, 6-5, 185) Australia. His father Cecil Exum played at North Carolina with Jordan and Worthy and professionally in Australia, where the family remained after his career. One of the top international players, he excelled in several world events. Currently being recruited by LSU, North Carolina, SMU, Boise State and St. Mary's. Craig Victor (PF, 6-8, 200) St. Augustine, New Orleans. 5-star recruit ranked No.24 overall in the his class. Considering: LSU, Baylor, Connecticut, Kansas, Georgetown, Alabama, UCLA, Miami (Fl.), Georgia Tech, Texas, Arizona, USC, Providence, Syracuse and Ohio State. Jordan Cornish (SG, 6-4, 180) Brother Martin, New Orleans. Currently unranked on Rivals, but is a 3-star on Scout. Is a strong candidate to be a Rivals 150 member. Considering LSU, Alabama, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and others. Lucas Antunez (PG, 6-1) A Spanish point guard currently living in Houston and looking at U.S. high schools. Was scouted by LSU at the Reebok Breakout Challenge. Also being recruited by Baylor, Rice, UCLA, Texas A&M, Florida, Temple and Central Florida. See link for more info Dwayne Morgan (SF, 6-7, 180) St. Frances, Baltimore. 5-Star prospect who has been offered by LSU. He is ranked No. 15 in his class. Also considering many other schools, including Florida, Georgetown, Miami, NC State, Seton Hall, UNLV and others. Davell Roby (PG, 6-3, 180) White Station, Memphis. 3-Star point guard that has been offered by LSU. Has also been offered by Arkansas, Auburn, Missouri, Ole Miss and Wake Forest. C.J. Anderson (SG, 6-4, 175) Arlington, Memphis. 3-Star shooting guard continues LSU's attempts to get involved with Memphis talent. Also considering Arizona State, VCU, Georgia Tech and Mississippi State. Chris Sandifer (SG, 6-4, 175) Junipero Serra HS, Gardena, Ca.; 4-Star shooting guard that is a longshot for LSU. Is also being recruited by all the big West Coast schools, USC, UCLA, Arizona, Utah, Colorado. James Thompson (SF, 6-7, 195) Capital HS, Baton Rouge. 3-Star recruit from Baton Rouge. Also being recruited by Houston, SMU and Texas. Reginald Johnson (6-3, SG) Richwood, Monroe, LA; A talented guard that is not receiving a lot of national attention. Is being recruited by mostly regional schools currently. Rashad Jackson (SG, 6-2, 160) Garces Memorial, Bakersfield, Ca. Explosive athlete currently rated as a 3-star on Scout. Had an excellent Pangos Camp, where he held his own against some top talent. Also considering UNLV, UCLA, Colorado, Cal and Memphis, among others. LaDamean Keys (PF, 6-7, 205) Bogalusa, La., 4-star recruit ranked No. 77 nationally. | Looney's team was playing Texas prospect Emmanuel Mudiay's team, so I wonder which player LSU was actually checking out. Both are studs. I also wonder which coach it was.
