Sure, but the order was on behalf of Hineault and wasn't LeMond clear by something crazy like 20 minutes? I can't remember exactly. And the Badger then promised to support LeMond the next year for the pull back, and then reneged on the promise and tried to beat LeMond. LeMond won anyway, but Hinuealt attacked him pretty constantly.

Like I said, I understand its good tactics, and its a team sports, but it does kind of suck. And Froome wasn't nearly as far ahead this year. That was a real minor sit up.

GB cleaning up, 4 stages wins and the 1+2 in the GC

Bit of an odd race today, i lost interest until that hill when Evans began to split the climb, was a sneaky move, and the thing that it brought up for me was how although Sky covered the move on the hill it was only Rogers Froome and Wiggins there, EBH caught up later but perhaps some cracks are showing?

Wiggins leading out EBH was odd to me, especially given how they have only led out Cav once but when theres an outside chance one of their tweeners can win he's balls to the wheel.

Sagan has the green wrapped up now.

What happened to Cav today? I only saw a replay of the sprint

I think Nabili will crack Wiggins in the Pyrennes.

I don't know if Wiggins swung away because he was tapped out or because he thought it was time, but if he could have gotten Boasson Hagen 100m closer, Sky would have had it fifth stage win. But in all fairness to him, he doesn't have much experience leading out sprints, so I guess he should be given a pass if his timing was off. This tells me that if Wiggins arrives in Paris in yellow, he won't be just sitting in the peleton like most past Tour winners, he's going to be trying to get Cavendish the stage win.

Someone from Sky will be expelled the raids will start up soon. The French will like to embarrass the British Cycling fed. If it happens, it will taint Wiggins and I'm not sure he will be able to handle it. But I think Nabili and Evans will start attacking all the time after today.

Why does everyone assume this? just because they are dominating? they have all got good pedigrees, most have won stages at the big tours or are/were world championships and nobody involved with the olympics is stupid enough to do drugs this year.

Sky is the only team that has not shown any effects of racing all year, in terms of recovery. Even cyclist are thinking same thing. Also notice the reaction of Wiggins about a normal question that's been asked at every tour since Contadore has been suspended.

You wouldnt be pissed about asking if your drugged? Not only that but people saying hes come from nowhere he probably sees it as an insult to his career...but what are other putting it down to? roid rage?
And i don't remember anyone asking Evans or Nibali if he is roiding

As i said about today, when Evans attacked today Sky weren't there in force it was just Wiggins Froome and Rogers...Wiggins and Froome are 2 of the best riders in the tour and Rogers is one of the best guys to have on a team.
Sky are built for the mountains head to toe outside of Cav and Eisel, no other team is either. so of course they are looking the strongest

I think he will definitely make it interesting, and if all the other guys are too gassed I wonder if Froome tries to make a move? VDB also has the potential to do well, but the dude screwed himself early on being that far back.

Interesting stage today. How the hell does some tool throw tacs out there and Evans rolls over three of them. That's some shitty luck

First Evans borrowed a teammates rear tire since the team car wasn't nearby. Then when that tire turned out to a tac in it, he got a rear tire from the team car. Finally, when it turned out that his front tire also had a tac in it, he got a new front tire from the team car. BMC should have changed bikes instead of tires on the second tire change the way Sky did with Wiggins. Why do they have all those spare bikes on the team car if they aren't going to use them? Bike changes are obviously much faster than tire changes.

Wiggins is enjoying this, no one tried something. Just hoping we get something going on Wed or Thurs. Good to see Sanchez winning again.

Froome made clear in an interview that it's hard for him right now and he believes he can win the tour and also said he's "without a doubt" better than Wiggins on cols and that he hopes he will be the leader of the team next year. Also said he would follow Evans and Nibali for sure if either tries to attack but wouldn't comment on whether or not he would attack, himself.

Can't wait to see how this turns out.

Cycling conspiracy.

I don't know what looked weirder, seeing Wiggins doing a leadout on sprint stage yesterday while wearing the Yellow jersey, or seeing Cavendish leading the peleton up cat 1 mountain while wearing the World Champions jersey.

It was Alberto Contador who threw the tacs.

The nature of cycling is such that it's easy for nutjobs to affect the race if they want to. There's just no way to completely control the crowds and prevent sabotage in sports like cycling, marathons and triathlons.

Back in 2003, after W started the Iraq War, and French-American relations reached a lowpoint, Lance Armstrong admitted to being terrified at the thought of riding the Tour that year. Being one of America's most famous athletes, who happened to be from Texas, made him an inviting target for terrorists looking to make a statement in front of an international TV audience of hundreds of millions. The Tour organizers and the French government also had these concerns, and supposedly the French military put Armstrong under the protection of undercover commando unit/sniper team to prevent a repeat of the 1972 Munich massacre.

If I was Lance I think I would've asked the US to send their own SpecOps guys. I'm not so sure I would trust the French with my life.
